Jealousy In The Death Of Paulie Malignaggi

I'll start by saying Paulie Malignaggi opened his mouth on purpose. I'm sure he never thought he'd have a chance to be a part of such a big boxing event. When you box your entire life and "some guy" comes along, has the spotlight, has everything you wanted, but didn't receive, that jealousy can run ramped. After all we're only human. Pauli has always been one to create controversy. I could point to a number of times in his career he's said wild things or been in the center of drama. Let's take a look at a few examples. The first and most popular one is the drama with Jessica Corazon before the Adrian Broner fight, now although this didn't seem to be his fault it definitely has a similar feel as the drama that is currently surrounding the McGregor sparring situation. A couple other examples are his numerous post fight comments about being robbed. Usually he points to corrupt judges, or goes further and says the promoters have them in their back pockets and so fourth. He even has gone as far to say this is why boxing is dead.
