The Tragedy Of Lee Harvey Oswald's Assassination

Decent Essays
Fifty two years ago President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, TX. Still today people wonder did Lee Harvey Oswald act alone? I believe that it was lone assassin. Oswald was a former US Marine and had been accused of having illegal weapons and displaying violent manner. Towards the end of his service he went on a trip to Moscow where he told the Russian authorities he wanted to move to the Soviet Union. Oswald seems to have perfectly matched profile of a psychopathic killer. Besides being a violent nut, Oswald was also a known pathological liar. A half-century of investigation has failed to link any individual besides Oswald to the crime. Long before the assassination took place Lee Harvey Oswald had clearly expressed his hatred for the American society and protested heavily against it. In 1963 he ordered a .38 handgun and later a rifle, having his wife take pictures of the weapons later used as criminal evidence. …show more content…
But when he was interested in communism transformed in to the support of Cuba, he also took a trip to Mexico City where he attempted to obtain passage to Cuba and the Soviet Union for no gain. But also lying about having established a thriving New Orleans branch of Fair Play for Cuba. After the shooting Oswald was spotted leaving the scene and confronted by officer J.D. Tippit who lied his way out it, but later shot and killed Tippit. Those are only a few of his lies they go on and on.
More than 50 years later people still can’t link another name to this crime. On the day of JFK’s assassination Oswald was stationed on the sixth floor of his work building three shots were fired but only the second and third hitting. Investigation has failed to link any one else besides Oswald to the crime, people have tried and they can not link the crime to anyone but Oswald thus being my third reason why I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone on the killing or

Lee Harvey Oswald had to have been part of a bigger conspiracy. There is no way that he could have done this alone. Him and Jack Ruby met in a night club 2 weeks before the assassination. Those 2 probably had something to do with the mob. Oswal´s job was to kill the president and if he did it wrong then Jack Ruby was to kill him.…

November 22, 1963 the day our beloved 35th president John F. Kennedy was assissinated in Dallas, Texas by a man named Lee Harvey Oswald or so we told. My main question is did Oswald really act alone in the shooting of Kennedy? Was their another shooter that was not found, Could it have been the Soviets, Fidel Castro, The United States military, or Vice President Lydon B. Johnson the real culprit behind the assissination of Kennedy? Over the years new theories that Oswald was not the only shooter that day in Dallas, maybe Oswald was working with someone who felt that Kennedy was a threat and needed to be delt with.…

Since Oswald liked Cuba more, Fidel Castro was their leader, who was communist. Oswald did like those two things better than the U.S., so he thought that’s how the U.S. should be too. Along with that, he overall didn't like the Democratic Party and didn't agree with JFK. He was mostly one sided on the political aspect of things, even though some witnesses say before the assassination happened, he “somewhat liked JFK” (Before It’s News 1), no one would've thought that he would've been the one to shoot him.…

The Kennedy Assassination There are many conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, (JFK). One of the most prominent, is that lone gunman and communist sympathizer Lee Harvey Oswald, on his own accord, took matters into his own hand and singlehandedly planned and executed the President of the United States of America. Another theory was that Oswald was a pawn in a deadly game of politics and mafia wars and was directed by the powers that be to kill JFK, and in an effort to prevent him from ever exposing the plot, he too was murdered in cold blood. Curiously, the theory that weighs in most heavily is that Lee Harvey Oswald was framed for the murder of JFK. Popular conspiracy theories claimed the “government” was behind it and the murder was in retaliation for a political upset, specifically, the Bay of Pigs conflict in Cuba (Polidoro, 2005).…

On Friday, November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was shot down in a motorcade on his way through Dealey Plaza. Through investigation and debate, the Warren Commission found that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin (Report of the Warren Commission On the Assassination of President Kennedy). “The committee believes, on the basis of the evidence available to it, that President John F. Kennedy was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy”(“Top 10 JFK Assassination Quotes”). This final report done by the House Select Committee on Assassinations clearly contradicts the Warren Commission’s Report on the Kennedy Assassination which states that only a lone shooter killed JFK. Through careful research and examination, it is shown…
