The Town Nightclub

The Town Ballroom is a premier concert venue in Buffalo that has a capacity of 1,000 people. It hosts a variety of events such as parties, benefits, and concerts. The venue was made to be a comfortable place for performers, as well as a favorite place for fans to experience live music.

From 1940 to 1960, it was named The Town Casino and was owned by Harry Altman and Harry Wallens. The casino was the finest restaurant in Buffalo at the time, and it was also a popular nightclub. It was a place for showgirls and tough guys, like Al Capone, to hang out in the basement and play cards. Famous singers like Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis and Nat “King” Cole have performed there.
