The topic of concussion, is the source of head contact collision which causes disturbance in the brain’s ability to obtain and process information.
As Rugby Union is a well-liked, and popular full-contact sport throughout the world, it produces the highest rate of concussion in all of full-contact sports.
Concussions are a concerning injury in this sport, as it can cause serious damage towards an individual’s brain in the body’s structure, physical wellbeing and functions as the injury can increase in suffering disorders in later life.
This sport ranges from 3 – 10 concessive injuries per 1000 players, thus long term damage on the brain, can result in depression and other mental health issues
