My sport hasn’t started season, yet I feel that there is no room for personal time. I wake up at 5 am to go to a 2-hour morning practice, then to an hour of weights and I have to rush to class everyday. When I am finally done with tennis related activities and classes, I have to go to tutoring appointments and start my homework right away, so I can go to bed at a decent time to be able to wake up early in the morning and restart my routine all over again. With my hectic schedule, I am constantly hopping from one place to another, hardly having any time to stop and have a conversation with a friend or sit down to eat a whole meal without the feeling that I need to go somewhere else. I am always tired, I have to get a decent amount of sleep, give my best effort in my sport and trying to keep up with school work.…

The experience that I went through and that I would like to share was when I played golf in the beginning of the year. I was fine managing my schedule during the first week or two of school, but then I started getting more and more homework as the weeks went on. I had a hard time keeping up with my school work and playing golf. I practiced every day after school and I didn’t really have any time after school to do my homework. Playing golf took up basically all of my time because I played it 5-7 days a week between practicing with the school team or practicing with my golf instructor/coach.…

I said to someone once, "if I could have a free pass I think I would go back and change a few things". They looked at me and said "Like what?" And ever since then it's been going through my mind all the things I "thought" I would do different. For starters, I would change all the immature/irresponsible things I may have done in my adolescence. I would take back all the things I should've not said, or say the things I needed to say.…

My three personal core values are happiness/enjoyment, personal development/ growth, and excellence. I put happiness as my number one core value because I believe that happiness is more important than schoolwork. In order to succeed in the classroom or anywhere else I think that a person should first be happy. If someone isn’t happy then they probably won’t care about their work because they’ll be too sad to focus. My next personal core value is personal development or growth.…
