6000 years ago, Dor was the created the concept of time. As a consequence of him being persistently preoccupied with observing, counting, and, furthermore measuring everything, he made the first 2 clocks using shadows along with water bowls through his curiousity as well as his discovery. I enjoyed your novel because it shows how strong your emotions can be sometimes and because of the quotes for instance "There is a reason God limits our days," and "Yet all around you, timekeeping is ignored. Birds are not late. A dog does not check its watch. Deer do not fret over passing birthdays. Man alone measures time. And because of this, man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that no other creature endures. A fear of time running out." My favourite parts were when Dor grabbed the grain of sand from the hourglass and stopped time and whenever Dor died of the same disease as his wife because, after his death, they'd finally be together. I don't think I would change anything about your book even if I could because I consider it perfect as it is. Before I finish, I have some questions to ask about the book at hand. What inspired you to write this book? Are any of the characters based off of people you know? How long did it take for you to write The Time
