Three Values Related To My Career

The three values that are related to my career is will my career provide enough money, do I want to be in an office all day or be able to walk around and be active, and will my career make me happy. The first value, which is will my career provide my family and I enough money, is important to me because I want to be able to provide shelter and food for my family. I want to be able to provide the necessities in life without having to worry about getting two or more jobs so that the bills get paid. I know money is not the only thing that will get me anywhere in life, but being able to be satisfied and stress free about your worries is something that is relieving. I took a lot from this article because your salary depends on the level of nursing, years of experience, and type of work you do. The salary is not just given to you automatically, people have to work their way up to where they want to be with their salary. Nurses start off with a lot of money, but the highest nurse working will obviously be making a lot more than the individual who just started. The article was a good source because people cannot always go into a career and think that their salary is going to be what they looked up on the Internet.

The desirability and probability of each alternative is different. Physical therapy, EMT, and labor and delivery are close to my values, but these alternatives are careers I do not want to be. These alternatives are in my range of how close my values are, but nursing is my passion. Special education teacher and pediatrician are not in my area either.
