My life has not been as rough as one may think. It’s been a small roller coaster ride throughout the years for me. The three things I value the most are my car, my house my wedding ring and lastly my loving and caring husband. These things to me are important to have and they are the top thingsthree things on my list of the things I value. I am writing this to you my future children because I feel like it is an important part for you to know of who I am and what I valued the most in my life. I came about this when I was in my 20’s. I had just met your father, we became instant friends like peanut butter and jelly. It was your father who opened my eyes to see the world and who showed me that life isn’t just about the parties. Your father taught …show more content…
I was unmotivated and had nothing going for me; I had no car, no life and no job. I took a liking to him instantly, he was this smart successful 23 year old who knew what he wanted in life. It was because of hehim thatwho made me realizeed, that I could be someone and that I could change my life to make it better. I ended up finding a fulltime job which helped me pay for my car. I was so happy when I got my car that I cried tears of joy. It was the largest purchase of my life at age 21. The car was a black 2006 Subaru Impreza, it had tinted windows, an mp3 player and an amp that came with the car. I was so excited because I had been driving what they call a winter beater which sounded like it was going to die at any moment. I worked long hours at work and always volunteered my free time to do overtime at work. It was long and exhausting sitting from 5am until 5pm but it paid off at the …show more content…
I had recently been given bad news at my job that I was unhappy about. I had been stressed over it, unhappy and taking it out on your father every night. What I didn’t know was that he had a surprise for me, a surprise that I will never forget and will always cherish. It was May 2015 and your father had told me that he was taking the day off because he was waiting for a package. I was not suspicious since we had been remodeling some things in our house. I had just assumed he wanted to finish some things up and thought the package was something to do with our house. So I went to work that day unaware of what was in stored for me. The day went normally and I drove home unaware of what was awaiting me. I remember pulling into the driveway and just thinking “I hope he cooked me dinner” I get to the door and I draw my key and jangle the lock on the front door. As I am opening the door I see this man whom I love and cherish holding a small red box open with a shiny diamond ring in it while on one knee. He then whispers the sweetest words I have ever heard “Will you marry me?” Of course I said YES! And immediately cry my eyes out. I value the ring because it represents all the sacrifices, late night talks, tears and compromise that we as your parents made to be here today. The ring represents our love and vows we kept to one another to

My key life lessons are that nothing beats hard work and if you treat others with respect, they will generally treat you with respect. Hard work and effort are the main aspects that lead to “lucky” things happening. Good things don’t just fall into people’s laps, the ones that have the most “luck” generally are those that put in the most effort and work. Also, I have learned that when you truly respect those around, they will respect you back and life is much easier when you aren’t doing things behind each other’s backs.…

Every Life Matters I really only started understanding the meaning of abortion once one of my mom’s friends had one. Before that I had very little knowledge about abortion. My parents have always taught me to stand by what I believe and that others may have different beliefs. They always told me that I would meet people that would disagree with me and what I believe not only when it came to these kind of topics but many other things as well. Being told that, they told me to always respect people’s beliefs and their points of view because everyone has the right to stand by what they believe, just like I do.…

There are a couple of obstacles that have played a major role in me becoming who I am today. I've had naysayers trying to negatively influence my thoughts, and crush my dreams by saying that said I will never amount to anything, or that I should give up on my dreams and get realistic with my goals. A couple years ago I was a completely different person. I was out of shape physically, my academic performance was very poor, and I had a terrible attitude. I decided to write about my relationship with my dad in this post because Father’s Day just passed and because I’ve already made a post about the incredible bond I have with my dad. In that post I mentioned that he was away in Korea when I was born and I didn’t get to see him until I was 7 months old. My mother, who was only 22 at the time, had a lot of responsibility taking care of the three of us who were all under 3 years old. When my dad came home he took over the caregiving duties for me completely because he wanted to make sure he bonded with me. There was a solid attachment built between the two of us at that time that has been tested over time but never frayed.…
