The Three Stooges: Movie Analysis

There has been a time where we have all seen a stupid movie based on our own opinions of course. Rather, we like comedy, action or even romantic movies. My movie that I believe is stupid happened to be in the genre of comedy. I choose The Three Stooges, for several of reasons. Just in case you haven’t seen The Three Stooges. The Three Stooges is about how three boys named Larry, curly, and Moe got left on a nun’s doorstep at a young age. Larry, Curly and Moe eventually grew up to be stupid, finger poking, face slapping finger tweaking, violet idiots. After a certain amount of time the three stooges come to find out that they were going to lose their home due to a lack of money. So these three boys were woo-woo-wooing their way into the city

Their films are known for the mixing violence, dark humor, film noir, their films are frequently researched within a postmodern perspective. The Breakfast Club is one of my favorite movies of all times; as I was a junior in high school when this film was released in 1985. Detention was a common punishment; however, holding the detention sessions on Saturdays was controversial. Many individuals were angered by having to give up their time on the weekends. Therefore, the internal rebellion included not only students; but, parents and school facility as well. By the time my sister entered high school in 1988, Woodhaven High, no longer held Saturday detention sessions.…

Christmas is a Christian celebration of the birth of Christ, though it also encompasses Greek, Roman and pagan traditions of giving gifts and feasting around the Winter Solstice. It is a time when families and friends come together to share food and exchange gifts (web). In How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss and A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, the main characters, the Grinch and Ebenezer Scrooge, are similar to each other in many ways such as their awful personality. The Grinch is a green hairy who is very greedy, stingy, and a little evil creature. He wants nothing to do with the Whos, hates Christmas, and wants the Who 's Christmas spirit to be gone.…

This movie shows us the hope that Andy Dufresne had with him the whole time he was in prison. It is the hope that we find Søren Kierkegaard and Albert Camus talk about – existentialist hope. After having read on the philosophies of the two existentialists, I started to realize how I could see that hope being portrayed in this movie. Existentialism is focused on human existence and how to become fully human. For Kierkegaard, to exist means to stand out which was exactly what Andy did a few months after he entered Shawshank.…

    Forrest Gump Film Analysis

Forrest Gump is a film that defies the conventions of filmmaking, and in that sense it is difficult to do a typical analysis of the film. It’s not so much that the film is overly complicated or that reality is always in question or any art house tricks of that kind; it’s just that Gump doesn’t really follow any rules. We begin with the most obvious: the plot. This is a film that should have redefined the biopic. It is completely about the life and times of Forrest, the protagonist, in fact through it all that’s the only thing it’s consistently about.…
