Girls are discovering puberty, dealing with hormones, body changes, and attitudes that can suddenly appear. Boys will hit puberty in their teenage years. During adolescence, both young men and women could be trying to figure out how to deal with peers, adults, work, sports, grades, school, clubs, and the changes occurring with their bodies and emotions. They rarely request help when dealing with everyday life, but may ask for help with situations they have never been exposed to. “Mid-life” crisis occurs during the adulthood stage (if it occurs). This is when a person might buy multiple ponies (or a Ferrari)! Divorce or separation can occur, a new younger love interest might appear.
