Brandon Mesch. He was my math teacher in the 8th grade, and he was a positive teacher. I did not like math before his class, but he took his time with each student to make sure we were confident. What turned me onto math was his positive ways to teaching me to relax and take full control of how to solve the math problem and stop rushing into the wrong answer. As I took his advice, math become easier for me and my favorite subject. Mr. Mesch become a role model for me as I looked up to him as a teacher and listener. He was always available for advice for more than math problems while I was in high school and encouraged me before graduation to go to college for accounting. Some of the advice I received from him was also fatherly advice about boys and how to use my free time. Even though my father was in my life, Mr. Mesch is like a second father and role model. If it were not for the three most influential people in my life, like my mother, Mrs. Mason, and Mr. Mesch, I do not know where my life would be today. These influential people have contributed to a strong business minded professional, who will cherish their compliments, advice, and guidance for the rest of my life.
