When we get older, we start to experience many changes. One of those changes is getting a better understanding of things. In the novel "Life of Bees, " the protagonist, Lily Owens faces many challenges on her journey to adulthood. Lily has to go through many things as she grows up and she has to learn to let go of the past. The three most important obstacles Lily must face is forgiveness, prejudice, and female power.
The first obstacle Lily has to face is forgiveness. She needs to face forgiveness for many reasons. The first reason is the guilty feeling she carries daily. Lily feels guilty because when she was younger, she accidentally killed her mother. Another
