The constant growth in technology is changing the way we live, work, and relate to others. So far we have had three Industrial Revolutions that have shaped our world. The first one focused on using water and steam power for production. The second one used electricity to enable mass production. The third Industrial Revolution focused on using electronics and information technology for automotive production. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is now fusing technologies to eliminate the boundaries between physical, digital, and biological spheres. The fourth industrial revolution can have a positive or a negative impact on the world. It can increase global income levels and improve quality of life but it also has a possibility of taking away jobs
