Smith ,the speaker, was going around in circle as well and going off topic and not being able to come back to the main topic. The argument that did stand out to me and did give his whole arugment strength was when Smith started to talk about ritual ,and being able to celebrate ritual in our places in our lives besides religion and not viewing ritual has something "scary". Smith gave a great example to this argument by using a piano student reference by explaining that someone can tell the difference between a piano student who practices because their mom wants them too and a piano student who practices because they want to. Being able to commit yourself to "ritual practices" like the piano student starts to make you turn it to something you desire to
