The feeling should be quite different from working with a male leader. According to 《Differences in Leadership Styles between Genders》,the research paper written by Naga Sai Chaluvadi and Dr. Martin Sivula in the university of Jonson & Wales , there definitely exists the differences in leadership styles between genders. They found that female leaders are usually democratic and try not to dominate all the conversations and meetings . They wanted everyone to participate and give their own opinions . Moreover, the female leaders are also very good at establish an intimacy with her colleagues. According to the findings contained in this paper, about 78percent of the female leaders states that they will actually spend time on working ,chatting with their staffs regularly and they usually organize a lots of staff activities in order to promote collaboration and reduce the unfamiliarity and strangeness between the boss and the staff,So the working environment will be more harmonious and relax. However, only 49percent of male leaders claim they will do the same things. Men in leadership positions on the other hand are found to adopt a command and control or autocratic style.
