FedEx starts out with really great intentions for their company, using things like the handheld computers in order to keep up with real time travel of packages with a big part in the customer satisfaction. With the amount of money being spent on shipping FedEx felt it was a must that packages arrived on time because otherwise people would not spend the extra amount of time to get things like overnight or express shipping for their packages.
