In 1914 a young man, part of the Black Hand a radical group who didn’t want Austria Hungary too take over, named Gavrilo Pincip killed the Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The reason he did this was because Austria Hungary was trying to take over Bosnia. This sparked the already heated nation of Europe. World war one is often referred to as a keg filled with gun powder just one small spark could set it off. The assassination of Austria Hungary’s Archduke was the spark. The Alliance system was the fire wood to this flaming blaze of war. As countries grew up there military counties started to take sides not wanting to be on the wrong one. Until eventually there were two sides T.A and the T.E. The alliances systems caused a chain reaction of declaration of war throughout Europe. If one country declared war on another one the alliances would then declare war on their allies and this would keep happening until the world was split. This was the reason the war would last so long because each time a war was declared countries kept sending food, troops and resources to that country. Witch would allow them to stay in the war long. Alliance stems forced countries to go to war if you were aligned with that side. These are the reasons that world war one started.
These are the reasons that world war one started and why it kept going after it should have ended. Militarism cause high tension between counties, impearlism cause counties to grow angry with one another and alliance systems the reason for the many troops being sent. These three reasons are the reasons and to think, one man’s death to send the whole world into
