Nearly 30,000 Americans commit suicide every year. Why is this number so high? Why do so many people think the only way to escape the terrors of life is to end their life? The world we live in is so brainless that we never consider they way we act and what we say can actually hurt people and drive them extinct. We are all guilty of saying at least one mean thing to another human being whether we meant it or not.

It has been shown that it has become the 3rd leading cause of death in people 15 through 23 years of age, and it is the second leading cause of death for 24 through 35 years old. At least one person commits suicide every 16.2 minutes. 16 minutes, just imagine throughout your busy day, going to school or work, or watching tv etc. there are hundreds committing suicide.
