As readers sit back and enjoy a dangerous ride through an accidental journey, they will go through a risk filled adventure of 5 teenagers, adrift in the middle of the ocean, on their own for survival. Adrift is a suspenseful and breathtaking fiction novel by Paul Griffin. Along with Matt and Josh’s dark past, they learn to move on and be normal teenagers, but that later allows them to make one mistake, that could cost them their lives. The author did a great job developing the theme of overcoming challenges in this story. Being stranded at sea is a problem that will show many obstacles, along with changes in those around you. Matt’s love interest makes the readers wonder and guess for his future actions. As Matt and his newly found friends
