In Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury, the author, composed a society surrounded by advanced technology and extreme oppression. Almost every person is taught not to ask questions and just follow the rules. In the futuristic society dictated by the book, people have parlors where the walls are interactive TV’s and books are illegal to own. Ray Bradbury has touched on a lot of themes throughout Fahrenheit 451, one of which is individuality, which is expressed through many different characters in the novel.
