The quote that moved me the most is, “Education is education. We should learn everything and then choose which path to follow. Education is neither Eastern nor Western, it is human” (Yousafzai 162). When education is brought up, we always talk about how kids are treated unfairly due to their race. This quote shows how no matter what color, religion, or sex you are, you should be allowed to have an amazing education. Malala's father devoted his life to building a school, just so children could have better lives. His view on education can be summed up in this quote, “My father used to say the people of Swat and the teachers would continue to educate our children until the last room, the last teacher and the last student was alive. My parents never once suggest I should withdraw from school, ever. Though we loved school, we hadn’t realized how important education was until the Taliban tried to stop us” (Yousafzai 146). If everyone in the world had this mindset, our world would be such a happier place. When we talk about PCEP, we always say we wished every school was like it. Other schools do not experience the same situations we do. Places around the world, have very different views on education. This quote shows how Malala and her father view education, “He believed that lack of education was the root of all Pakistan’s problems. Ignorance allowed politicians to fool people and bad administrators to be re elected. He believed schooling should be available for all, rich and poor, boys and girls” (Yousafzai 41). This shows education is a major factor they want to change in the world. We have to come together as one to improve this
