The story is about a hoarder named Dorothy, she likes to keeps everything. Dorothy’s hoarding has gotten so bad that her daughter Hannah has to take action in order to save her mother. Hannah proceeds to call for help for her mother problem. However, Dorothy refuses to have her daughter help her because she wants to keep her stuff. Dorothy also seems to have and OCD problem because she obsessively flicks the lights on and off and counts them. Hannah calls David who is a psychiatrist, Dorothy still refuses. Something changes in Dorothy she has a revelation that leads her act Hannah help and she gets rid of her things.
The central theme of the story downfall of a person and overcoming because Dorothy was a well-known and exceptional scientist,
