The movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, is more about loyalty than betrayal. This is because of Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, Severus Snape, and the Students of Hogwarts. First of all, Ron and Hermione show their loyalty to Harry Potter. They go with Harry to Hogwarts. When Neville tells them what Hogwarts is like he says, “The grounds are crawling with Death Eaters and Dementors” (Yates). The Death Eaters are all currently looking for the trio, and if they find them they will be taken to Voldemort. Being near the school is very dangerous for the three, but they go with Harry anyways to help him with the job Dumbledore gave him. After hearing the prophecy of Voldemort, he goes and tells Voldemort about it. Voldemort comes to the conclusion that Harry Potter is the child the prophecy talks about. Snape loves Lily and goes to Dumbledore: “He intends to hunt them down and kill them. Hide him… Hide them all” (Yates). Snape warns Dumbledore about Voldemort’s plans for Harry and his parents. He then devotes himself to Dumbledore by being his inside man. Snape warns Dumbledore about Voldemort wanting him dead and sending Draco Malfoy to do it. Dumbledore tells Snape that he must be the one to kill him: “Only then, will the Dark Lord trust you completely” (Yates). Snape does as he’s asked and kills Snape, even though it was very for him to do this. Additionally, before Dumbledore’s death, he gets Snape to promise to tell Harry about him being a Horcrux. It is then revealed that Snape still loved Lily and cared for her son, as his patronus is a doe, which was Lily’s patronus. He gets mad at Dumbledore for raising Harry to die. After arriving in the Room of Requirement at Hogwarts, Harry see that the room is being used as a hideout for the students. None of the students give up Harry’s location to the Death Eaters. The students even help Harry: “Well, there’s Rowena Ravenclaw’s lost diadem” (Yates) and by hiding him among them so he could he could get to Snape. After, Harry confronts Voldemort sends a message asking the students to give Harry to him. The Slytherins want to give Harry to Voldemort, but the other students stand around Harry and protect him from the Slytherins. Also, the students help defend the castle as Harry is looking for the Horcruxes. They put their lives at risk trying to get Harry time to find the Horcruxes as they fight against giants, Death Eaters, dementors, and giant spiders. When Voldemort offers the students a place among the Death Eaters, they refuse to go with Voldemort and stand by Harry and what he wanted. The students stand by Harry’s side and fight a fight that isn’t theirs to
