My project is a game board titled “The Test of Fate.” It is modeled after the game “Sorry!” in same aspects, but it also has a bit of a twist. When playing this game, players divide into two teams, the Montagues and the Capulets: “Two households, both alike in dignity (in fair Verona, where we lay our scene), from ancient grudge break to new mutiny,” (Prologue.1-3.7). Players must “duel” in order to decide who goes first. This duel consists of playing rock, paper, scissors. In order to win the duel, a player must win two out of three. In Romeo and Juliet, there are many duels between characters: “Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries that thou hast done me. Therefore turn and draw,” (3.2.67-68.119).
