The author tries to analyze a product of Hollywood through applying a cultural approach with the aim of revealing some pre-occupations and concerns of the citizens of the United States which involve commercial consumerism, progressivism, and their discrepancies. He also attempts to expose the relationships that exist between national identity, social identity, mental rate and the protagonist economic state.
