In the story “Tell-Tale Heart”, the kid is crazy because he planned on killing the old guy. He loved the old guy but he wanted to kill him because of his weird eye. One reason the young man is crazy is because he killed a someone that he loved. He snuck into his room then suffocated him. After he killed him he cut him up into pieces then hid him under the floorboards. He was also hearing things. He said the disease made his hearing better. He believed that he could hear things all the way up in heaven. He also heard the heartbeat of a dead man that he had buried in the floorboards. Another example to prove that the kid is crazy is that he snuck into the old man’s room at midnight for eight days straight. Every time he went in
