In the story “The Tell-Tale Heart,” it begins with an unnamed narrator telling us that he is ill “…Yes, I have been very ill…” but to stop saying that he is mad so he tries to prove his point by telling us the past events. The narrator starts talking about how he loved the old man’s, he didn’t want money, and it was the old man eyes that were upsetting the narrator which he compared them to vulture eyes.
