The Tell-Tale Heart written by Edgar Allan Poe. The narrator is guilty of the murder of the old man. The killer is guilty because in the beginning of the story he tells the reader he's going to kill the old man because he has an eye of a vulture. The narrator also tells how he killed the old man and confesses to it.

The narrator is guilty of the killing of the old man but some people say that he was insane because he could not tell fantasy from reality. This cannot be true because the narrator explained he was going to kill him and an insane person could not have planed the murder, they just murder without knowing. The narrator plans ahead before he even kills the man, which means he knew what he was doing. People say he was insane because

The Tell-Tale Heart is a story written by Edgar Allen Poe and is a story which I’m pretty sure, much like many other mandatory school readings like Shakespeare and Thatcher, that many of you have read and most of you have forgotten, myself included.
