The Tell Tale Heart is an interesting story and mysterious at the same time . The mystery is in the fact that you did not really know or have a clue about the narrator’s name or actual identity . You do not even know his/her gender or look . The narrator , or the killer of the story, was definitely keeping on trying to defend his sanity . But killing an innocent old man definitely proves otherwise . You can not be sane when your actions prove the opposite thing . Not to mention that he says he is able to hear things that from both in heaven and hell . And the fact that the he thinks that his actions were perfectly normal . And he did the right thing . That does not seem sane to me. But in the same time I can understand his suffering with the
