The tell-tale heart was a mysterious book. It seems that the narrator was as crazy as a Christmas nut. The way the story is laid out give it more of a sense of mystery. Later the narrator killed the old man just because his vulture eye. That is the work of a mad man.
The narrator of the tell-tale heart was a murderer because it says in the text that he killed the old man just because his eyes. The narrator said that the old man’s eye is the eye of a vulture. The way it describes the murder in the book makes it seem more gruesome. The narrator is guilty and should be punished. He is guilty for his crime of murder.
I think the narrator is nutty as a fruit cake. In lines 1-7 it states that they called him mad. He says he heard the heavens and the earth and most things in hell. I believe the narrator’s motive was that he was insane. In lines 163- 194 he believes he heard the old man’s heart beating. He also thought that the police men was laughing at him. Plus he hollered out to the guards "the old man is under the floor I killed him and put him under the floor" in lines 193-195. That proves that he did it. They found the body and he confessed. So if he tries to say he didn't do it they have proof that he did kill the old
