Jones wilton and his family has established international Foods Group (IFG) company that kept growing to become an important national brand name (McKeen & Smith, 2012). The company required to develop a technology road map in order to move from their current position which is using functional website, to their vision of where they want to be in the future social networking, mashups and multimedia by utilizing josh experience from Glow-Foods company (McKeen & Smith, 2012). For this target, the future of technologies that will be used are twitter, Face book and YouTube. Moreover, proper tools need to be ready within the company with trained employee in order to monitor the result and the status of them such as Business inelegance(BI). According to Dave (2014),” With the right BI tool, any enterprise can use time series-based historic data and sort, filter and drill down through the data using demographics, geographies, customer preferences and buying behaviors”. This tool will gave the chance to the organizations to understand the effectiveness of their utilization of social media. In addition, The IFG will have the facility to receive the customers feedback indirectly in order to improve their services and products without any communications with the …show more content…
The technology roadmap need to aligned with the business goals and developed based on that. Senior executives of IT from IFG can take the role of developing the technology roadmap as they are the best people how understand the technologies and to include in consideration the business goals of the organization. The Final approval of the roadmap need to be from the Chief executive officer (CEO) of IFG in order to ensure the goals of the roadmap and implementation related activities such as
