Many times in life we find ourselves trying to please others. “But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, thus we speak, not as pleasing people but God, who examines our hearts.”(1 Thessalonians 2:4). Tebow was very well known for one pose that he did after every touch down. It was a pose in which he would get down on one knee and say a quick prayer. He receive a lot of hell from critics about that pose. According to the media, that pose was not appropriate to the NFL. Through all of the controversy about it he never stopped doing that pose. He was not going to stop doing that pose just to please the media. Tebow was not a people-pleaser, but a God-pleaser. I often find myself seeking approval from others instead
