The Taliban started to regroup and take power again. They began by starting small attacks on motorcycles. They would set small bombs in the ground and ambush the foreign troops. They would start going bigger and the TTP would start to attack across the border. Later after they decided they had become powerful enough to start attacking bigger. After the fight an American helicopter went back to look for other wounded soldiers and came back damaged. A medical evacuation helicopter went and when he was going the rotors struck a compound and was not able to get the wounded soldiers. An American Black Hawk transport then got sent to get the wounded soldiers and landed in the enemy territory because of a mechanical problem. A warplane was also a part of the war and help the Americans and Afghans by shooting airstrikes at the Taliban. The war was scheduled to end December 31st.
