The TED Talk Activism Needs Introverts conveys how Sarah Corbett, a craftivist, one who combines crafty projects and activism to assist introverts that desire to become involved. Introversion is defined as an individual that acquires a quiet and reserved nature. Within the topic of activism and voicing one’s opinion, most believe that extraversion is the most effective form of advocacy. Extroverts prefer expressive, boisterous means of communication and larger, crowded forms of activism; although introverts favor the exact opposite, introverts are equally or in some cases more successful than extroverts.
