Fat in the Hat
It was a cloudy fall day in 1957 in rural Springfield. Albert, a twelve year old, overweight, unfriendly boy was walking home thinking to himself what he was going to do with his three-day school break. (27) (Albert walks by a tall thin salesman(1). It starts to drizzle.) ”You look like you have a cat, want a hat for it?” the salesman asked in a New York accent. (The salesman points to a long white satin top hat.)
“No thank you,” Albert answered.
“It is free,” the salesman counters.
“Why not?” Albert said, giving in. (Albert takes the snow white hat and walks home to his two story Victorian style house.) Albert then opens the huge blue double doors and walks in.) “Fatso a nice man gave you a hat.” Albert called to his cat.
“Meow.”

“What!” Albert said his brown eyes wide in shock. (Albert runs over to the cat and tries to take the hat off the cat, but it would not come off.) “I’m going to go take a nap.” the cat says as he walks out of Alebert’s view.
“Okaaay,” Albert said so quietly that only the cat could hear. ( Later that night, Albert is in his small race car bed when he hears the cat.)
“Can I come in?” the cat asked in a deeper voice than before. (Albert slowly walks over to the door and opens it. The top hat is still on the year old male black and white long haired cat.) “Can I stay here tonight?” the cat asked.
“Ya, you can,” Albert answered. (The cat jumps onto the bed and falls asleep. Later that night.)
“Hi Albert.” the fat cat called. (Albert wakes up to see his cat replaced with some demonic human like cat creature) “I’m the cat in the hat.” the cat said sly like.
“You're more like fat in the hat.” Albert said trying to break the tension. (Albert notices that the cat is slowly moving closer. He gets up and starts for the door, but the cat like monster blocks his path.)
“Going somewhere?” the cat asks. (Quickly Albert runs to the window and throws his large body inches off the floor into the glass (4). It does not break and Albert is in a lot of pain.) “What was that?” the cat
