In High School, Fallout inspired me to take courses such as EAST and Digital Communications. I knew if I was a completer in EAST, I would get a good scholarship for technology classes and it would look good on an application for a job that involves technology. If I was a completer in Digital Communication classes as well, it would be an even greater chance of forwarding my career. At college, I took vocational classes on Graphic Design levels one and two. Fallout inspired me to go into the design class. Not only has it inspired me to do that but to take a Gaming Design class in Arkansas Tech to get a degree in gaming design. I would love to be a gaming designer. I want to work with Bethesda Softworks (the creator of Fallout) and gain some experience in designing games. If I cannot do that, I would like to work with Ubisoft (Creator of Assassin’s Creed) or Telltale Games (creator of Minecraft: Story Mode). After I gain enough experience and money, I will create my own gaming design business. However, becoming a gaming designer is hard work and not many make it there. In the case where I will not make it, I will reboot my own graphic design company that I have previously created, Yin Yang Design. The location in which I will have the company still remains a mystery solvable only by the

The Scarlet Letter, by Nathaniel Hawthorne, and the article “Concerns Raised on ‘Scarlet Letter’ for Drunk Drivers,” by Toni Locy, both provided very different examples of public shaming. Both show the pros and cons of shaming by either telling a story or explaining people’s opinions. The Scarlet Letter provides a historic view on shaming during the Puritan times.
