Giving up is the easiest thing someone can do. Times get too rough or an obstacle seems like too much to handle, people tend to throw up the white flag and go on with life without that goal being accomplished. Bethany Hamilton, however, is not one of those people. She didn’t gain her success in life by her innate intelligence or being born during a certain time. Her success is from knowing exactly what she wanted and having the ability to express that and work hard to achieve it.
