The Stuffer: A Short Story

“No, my dear,” she said. “Only you.” As Billy heard that he realized he knew who she was. The landlady was the murderer who the police have been looking for, her name was the Stuffer. In the newspaper there was a survivor that was interviewed, he remembered what it said. I was there and then I wasn’t. I was found yesterday and nothing is coming back to me. All I remember the crazy lady say I was too short, too old, and too ugly. I wrote down my name and there was two other names. That is all I remember. As Billy was starting to become dizzy and lightheaded he noticed that there was only the two names, but the survivor wrote down his name.
“What happened to the survivor’s name? Where did it go?” Billy slurred.
“What do you mean the survivor?
