Carl Jung who became a physiatrist, studied at University of Basel. He would later publish books, and make a strong professional association. He states, “One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.” This quote tells students that they should be motivated to accept the teachers for who they are, the way they teach, and the style they use to make their teaching succeed. The motivation of students in school has started to lack. The grades that the schools receive show this has been recurring. The students have lost motivation because in today’s society they tend not to accept teachers, and their style of teaching. Another thing that students do not like is the amount of work, but it comes down to a system of thirds to motivate students. The system includes one-third students, one-third parents, and one-third teachers.

Rewards can include candy, pizza, homework passes, extra credit, and many others types of stuff. Rewards tend to not harm motivation, rewards ten to increase if they like the award that was given. If the teacher would like the student to complete a task that they know no one will do, offer extra credit, or any other form of reward to them to complete it. Students do not care for pressure from the teachers, even though it may be needed at times, instead teachers need to give them support, incentives, and rewards. If teachers pressure the student to much they tend to give up, and not try any more, instead of pressure give the student support. Teachers need to try to increase the motivation of students to the maximum because it tends to give higher results in
