Reflective Essay: Stress Is Good Student

Throughout the years, there has been many issues with the students and their lives. Around 2 years ago, a student went up to a person and started to explain to the person why he wasn 't going to graduate. To begin with, the person didn’t know what he was talking about until he asked him and started talking to him. He explained that he didn 't want to finish high school nor go to college because he didn 't have anyone to make them happy or feel that he accomplished something for someone. This made many people realize that there are students that don’t have the support of anyone to keep them motivated into succeeding. The district at times also doesn 't help the students in their needs and that what makes these students become very pessimistic on their future. These students, if they don’t have the support of someone, should go up to someone and tell them …show more content…
Many students don 't focus because of technology and other situations going through their life. They need to leave those situations somewhere else and focus on their studies because once they have their foot on the ground they will see that they 're drowning in their school responsibilities and won 't know how to get out of it. As in the reading, “Stress is Good” many students are struggling for a second opportunity. “The struggle is more like an opportunity to succeed.” (Stress Is Good). These students need to look for the other opportunity that will help them succeed and not fail like they 're more used to. As John Wooden said, “ Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming.” This shows how you need to always strive the best and always look for a better you in the future. Parents need to show their support by showing them that they need to be focused so the path they take is full of
