Henry Suzzallo served as president during 1915 to 1926. During 1924 was the beginning of the struggles between Suzzallo and UW against Governor Hartley. These two men have different views about certain agendas and issues. These problems affected the University of Washington and Governor Hartley’s business. It was a big problem because Governor Hartley had more power than Suzzallo to do most things because was the Governor of Washington.
