Description of what was learned Nonprofit organization function in a variety of stages. No one stage determines whether the organization will continue to be prosperous or go into decline, as the path to decline can occur at any stage. Organization life stages are somewhat like stages of human development in that birth and infancy is like stage one; childhood to found and fame; adolescent and young adulthood to ground and grow; adulthood to produce and sustain; review and reflect is similar to maturity.
