Throughout your daily life, in 2016 it is almost impossible to avoid some form of stress. There seems to always be a deadline or a soccer game that requires time to accomplish. These events that occur in our life are called stressors. In the video The Stress Epidemic, they use a barking dog as an example of a stressor. If the stressor is not taking care of the end result is stress. If I had a hypothetical meeting with a client who is under stress how would I approach the situation? The first thing I would do with the client is make sure that they are aware of the definition of stress. It is important that the client understands exactly what stress is, and where it comes from.
