Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was a happy little boy whose parents, Joyce and Lionel loved him very much. Dahmer was born on May 21,1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Evangelical Deaconess Hospital. His parents would video him playing in playgrounds, his mother would make a scrapbook’s and photo albums of baby Jeffrey. Joyce and Lionel had been married for almost a year when Jeffrey was born. When Jeffrey was still very young his father Lionel started to work long hours in his laboratory, while his mother Joyce worked as a Teletype machine instructor. Joyce Dahmer had a very short fuse, everything bothered her and she was hungry for attention. When Jeffrey was sent to his grandmother’s house in Wisconsin, 1987 he would go to church every week with her hoping that would cure him. This is where he began to live in his nightmare. He tried to control his compulsions by masturbating onto a male manikin he had in his room but his grandmother found it and made Jeffrey throw it away. He started lurking around the gay bars and bath bars trying to find his victims. He finally found his second victim at the gay bar and went to a hotel with him and drank a lot. He killed him during the night and stuffed him in a large suitcase to bring him back to his grandmother’s house where he continued to have sex with the dead body until he decided to dismember the …show more content…
Introverts are people who are drained by social encounters and have characteristics of being shy and social phobias. As a child his father did say that he was social awkward with people and very anti social. When Dahmer was in high school a classmate identified his personality as polite and strange (Jeffrey Dahmer Documentary). In school he had average grades but could have done better just was not interest. He would try to make friends by getting attention by making scenes in public places. For example running up and down the hallways at school screaming “hurricane drill” and another time at the mall he had his classmates pay him to make a huge scene with spitting sunflower seeds everywhere and saying he was allergic.
