Abortion is a medical procedure that terminates after pregnancy, resulting in the death of the embryo or fetus. In today’s world, abortion is a consistent fight between life or choice. It is a battle because one side is the arguing women whose only concern is their body. While, the other side is fighting for the life of the developing baby. The reasons why it is a continuing battle because its human rights versus women’s rights. In the novel, Victor Frankenstein wanted to destroy his creation as soon as he laid eyes on it. The creature wanted felt the same way, but he wants to discover himself and his reasons for being in the world. This relates to the battle life versus choice because developing infants do not get a choice whether or not they should but, they should get the fighting chance to survive in the world. But, women get violated, rape, molested, and other cruel and cynical ways were they have a troubling decision if they want to keep the baby or get rid of it. From a reader’s perspective, a developing should always get a chance to live and interact with what the world has to offer. Even though, the reason why the mother got impregnated should not hold back their decision to let the baby live.
