Have you ever had to leave your loved ones behind, and getting depressed for leaving them? Have you ever had to work very hard to accomplish a goal that you set yourself to? As in the case of Daniela she faced all these things that I mentioned. She had to work extra hard to make one of her biggest goals happen. The main goal that she had set herself was bring her five daughters to America, and live a happy life together as a family, and live stress free.

This quote reminded me, when Daniela told me that her father convinced her to move over to America, with her husbands so she could have a better life and not to be struggling with poverty in Mexico. It was about 3 a.m. when Daniela and her husband went over to Nogales to get on the bus. From there they stopped at Tijuana, from Tijuana, then went to San Diego, California. She was drained from all the traveling. Once they got there Daniela and her husband along with two other people waited there for a few hours. She said that they were waiting for a lady named Ramona to bring them food and freshly new clothes, because they were very dirty and had a very strange smell. Daniela would pace while they waited for Ramona to arrive. As they were waiting she described how they looked. “We were very embarrassed. People would look at us as if we were homeless I felt terrible. I looked pale and my eyes were swollen from all the dirt but especially from crying.” she
