Unfortunately Victoria witnessed her auntie attempt suicide by digesting Clorox bleach and another harsh chemical which was a drain cleaner named lye. Victoria watched her auntie hit the floor as her mother rushed in and administer mouth to mouth recitation as the ambulance arrived she watched the chemicals burn her auntie throat, and foam from her mouth. After such a horrible experience Victoria then watched her mother feed the surviving aunt every day for the next four months. Grandma then went on to share a lifelong memory of the aunt, she was a waitress at a restaurant, and every week she would put her tips in a shoe box and make it rain over Victoria and her siblings leading them to grab as much as their hands could hold. Don was a really abusive man and he not only sexually abuse some of the female children but physically abused them and the boys. It has been sated that he did such things in spite of Frank jr, just to prove that their father was all talk. My grandma then goes on to tell me the story of how she attempted to run away. One day after a gruesome beating her mother had received by Don, as she sked her mother to join her in leaving, at that moment her mother looked up at her and declined, and continued to explain that her ribs were broken. Filled with rage and contempt my grandmother swore to kill don, at that moment she grabbed a baseball bat and headed to the living room where he slept on the couch, in the same instance my grandmother lifted the bat to hit Don, he woke up and began to threaten her. Before don could strike my grandmother she ran out of the house to her best friend house. Once she arrived there she told her best friend what had took place and that she planned to run away.
