I chose to make a different ending because I think the ending is really bad. After reading the book I ended with a lot of questions and I wanted to answer them myself. That was the whole point of John Green to end like this I guess, but I don’t like his way. On the other side, the target of the book is your own fantasy and so you can create your own scene and you make impossible situations possible. So I’m going to make the impossible possible, with my own fantasy. So as they did in the movie because he goes back to town, a day later, but he is still in time for prom. I was first thinking of a summary of a possible second book, although that is very difficult, still I wanted to try, but I didn’t finish that on time. Maybe for the next time? My ideas are that Quentin doesn’t find Margo, but when he goes back she is there at the prom. I still have to work it out and think of reasons, but this is my idea. What I want to show you by this ending is that everything is possible in a book. And the most exciting about it: you probably read it differently. Not only as I already explained, but also language choices and vocabulary. I didn’t think the reading part was difficult, but the writing was different. I already had a lot of questions, but I still did some research. So I have a lot of more questions, but maybe, if that is possible, I can hand these in included answers and extra questions. The reason I do this, later on, is that I was ill, so I tried hard to finish it. The reading part was done a long time ago and I already started with the questions, but I didn’t complete all my ideas.
Dear John Green,
After I already read you bestseller “The fault in our starts,” I was exciting to read your second book; “Paper Towns.” The ending made me think of some questions. Maybe you haven’t got time to answer those question, but if you do, I am very glad that you took time to read my mail (and hopefully replied.)
The content of the book was very interesting and the book was very funny to read, I enjoyed every single word from the book. After all, I still have some questions about the ending, as I already told. Maybe you haven’t thought about answers of the book, but it feels a little like Hazel Grace Lancaster in “The fault in our stars,” about “Imperial affliction.” Those question worded as followed:
Book:
• What happens after Margo and Quentin kiss?
• What about all the friends? Are Ben and Lacey getting
