Many know of the greatest commandment which is, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22.37-38). This correlates with how you treat your loves ones. In the instructions for a Christian household, it states that one should submit to another person out of respect for Christ. This is important within a Christian home because if this is not noticeable the couples will not have respect for one another and that is the most important part in a relationship. The people can not bear the fruit of Christ if Christ does not have followers who want to plant the seeds. The Lord, our savior, delivered us from the darkness of sin into the light and, we need to give thanks to the Father for His love. Christ is the son of God and in Colossians, He is declared to be "before all things, and in him all things hold together." He is the reason our evil deeds are reconciled and, the reason we are given the chance of eternal life. The least we can do for Christ is to be stable and steadfast in our faith.…

The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (NIV). This verse displays how when Christ died on the cross, our sins, died with Him and now we are able to live by faith in Christ. Christians do have assurance that whenever life problems occur, they have God to take refuge in. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to “Cast all your cares on him because he cares for you.” At times operating in love and compassion just as Jesus taught can be difficult. Christians are taught to love their neighbors as they love their selves.…

Introduction It is very important for Christians to pray for each other. As Christians, we not only should pray for one another, but dwell on God’s word with one another. By doing so will allow each one of us to receive God’s blessing in accordance to his will. The bible states that “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.…

Learning to live a Christian life is one thing, but living out what we have learned is another story. As Christians, I think we have a greater responsibility because we know how the world should look, and we need to step up and lead the people around us. In order to share the gospel with others, we have to take a look at what God is calling us to do. Leading others consists of knowing what the Christian life looks like, sharing that with others, and staying faithful and truthful in what we say and do. Brian Jensen and Keith Martel did a wonderful job of explaining the gospel in their book Storied Leadership: Living and Leading from The Christian Narrative.…

The audience should hear and see the act of brotherly love and be drawn to take part in the fellowship as well. In closing, the homiletical idea was founded through a New Testament Commentary, the EVS Bible, and a Handy Bible encyclopedia.
