During the 49ers third preseason game, quarterback Colin Kaepernick stayed seated while his teammates stood during “The Star-Spangled Banner”. This has caused a lot of controversy on whether it was disrespectful or honorable, I have to say that I mostly agree with Kaepernick’s decision. Kaepernick stated in an interview “getting paid leave for killing people. To me, this is something that has to change and when there is significant change and I feel like that flag represents what it is supposed to represent and this country is representing people the way it’s supposed to, then I’ll stand”. I agree with what Kaepernick said because I feel some police are killing people for the wrong reasons, but still getting praise. I don’t think Francis
